► Brief Introduction
The integrated navigation point is the main input device of the MP40 and the standard configuration of the MP50, in addition to the touch screen.
Its dial can be rotated to enable navigation on the monitor screen. Each step has tactile resistance, and the user can control the movement of the cursor.
Turn the navigation point knob left or right. Each time you click, the highlight jumps to an adjacent screen element. Alternatively, tilt the knob to move it in the direction of the screen element. The cursor moves on the screen in the direction of the knob. All screen elements below the cursor are highlighted. When you reach the desired screen element, press the knob to select it.
► The navigation point has four hard keys:
| Silence key | Confirm all current alarms or turn on or off the alarm indicator |
| Alarms key | Pause the alarm indicator or turn on or off the alarm indicator |
| Main Screen key | Bring the user from any window to the home screen |
| Back key | Take the user from the submenu back to the main menu |
► Removing the Navigation Point Assembly
1. Separate the front and back parts of the display as described above.
2. Remove the two screws on the back of the navigation point assembly and pull the connector forward to remove it from the main board. Then pull down the navigation point component.
Note
that to remove flat ribbon cables with red connectors (such as navigation point cables), simply pull the cables directly.

When reinserting the connector insert the protruding nose at the top

When re-inserting the input device, make sure the spring is inserted into the hole in the plastic housing.
NOTE:
The screw that holds the navigation point assembly is self - cutting - rotate first in the opposite direction When reinserted.
